Love these! Buy them now!

I’ve been searching for 84” bookcases for MONTHS. I did not want to pay $1-4,000+ for them like the design stores I’ve grown to love had them for sale for. This is a happy medium. They still look sophisticated and high end but my bank account wasn’t hit with a high end price tag! FedEx takes FOREVER to ship these. I wish they would use UPS. That’s why I couldn’t give them 5 stars. I had paid someone to put them together and had to keep rescheduling my handyman because of all the delays in shipping these. I was very disappointed in that matter. Sicotas needs to change from FedEx to UPS.

Thought this was real wood - still okay

I believed this was real wood and in a way it is. There is some sort of MDF or other wood underneath a vinyl "picture" of wood covering it. It suits my purposes until they fall apart. Right now they are sturdy and hold together pretty well. I bought two of them to go on either side of my fireplace, and they look beautiful. Sadly, the actual handles for the doors did not get included in my equipment package so I'm waiting on those. Not a big deal but wanted to note it. This is put together from the top down, but you need two persons to lift the top onto the base for the final steps. I was able to connect the top to the bottom by myself on the first one by laying it down on the back, but the second one wouldn't cooperate in the same way. I ultimately had to wait for a friend to help. Just fair warning for those doing this solo. The instructions were fine and the diagrams were fine. I've done enough of these kinds of furniture pieces there were no real surprises. I believe I received value for my money.

Beautiful bookshelf

The only think that will make this 5 stars though is if the shelves are adjustable. I wish I can lower or raise them up to accommodate different sizes of books. otherwise, great quality, it is sturdy, took a while to put together but so satisfying because it is so beautiful.

Absolutely love these bookcases! We are so happy with how they turned out! The costumer service is amazing! They worked with us in such a timely manner! Highly recommend!
