Impressive Cabinet/Excellent Design

Once I've installed lighting, this will house books and curious objects that have managed to stay with me for decades. It is a beautiful, sturdy, well-designed piece. I've never been so impressed with a furniture as I was building it! That's definitely a two person job... But I loved the way the pieces fit together, naturally, for the purpose of becoming this lovely cabinet. It is elegant retro, industrial, regency... It's whatever you want it to be save, perhaps rustic.The only thing I would change about this piece is to use glass for the shelf in place of steel. And it could stand to have two shelves, if they're glass. With the steel shelf is best to line it up with the solid metal machined door pulls.I felt like I was taking a chance on this. It wasn't as wide as I was looking for or narrow enough to buy a pair, but a floor plant will fix that. The glass isn't clear as I thought I wanted. But it's cute and elegant at the same time! I fell in love with it - and I need to love the furniture in my home.Pictures don't do it justice. You need to feel the weight of the glass and metal, then carefully follow the directions during assembly to really appreciate this cabinet. It took us about 45 minutes and we only had to backtrack once, at the end. On the back and side pieces look for the end with a lip on it in the diagrams and, when you've got it right all the screw holes align.This is a unique cabinet that will draw the eye and add interest, but not overwhelm a room. It's also one of my best Amazon purchases of all time.Oh! Customer service is spectacular! FedEx lost my original cabinet and customer service has another heading my way the next day. They were a pleasure to work with!

The woven-looking material on the cabinet doors is Textilene mesh, rather than natural rattan, wicker, cloth, or plastic. The door is constructed with a 15mm framed panel, finished with decorative paper and Textilene mesh.

For the cabinet's overall finish, we also use 3D wood-grain decorative paper to create the wood-look appearance.
